A garden room and a bedroom were the focus of this home air conditioning installation in Stourbridge. We fitted one indoor unit in each space, both connected to a single 5kW multi-split outdoor unit.
It’s a good example of planning around the rooms a customer wants to use, even when those spaces serve quite different purposes.
Two spaces, one outdoor unit
The garden room had its own indoor unit, while the second served the bedroom. Connecting both to one outdoor unit kept the outdoor equipment to a single condenser.
The system provides heating and cooling, so both spaces can use it beyond the summer months. That gives the garden room a source of heat in cooler weather as well as cooling when it’s warm.
Wi-Fi controls and the electrical supply
The installation included Wi-Fi controls and an electrical certificate for the power supply. Those details sit alongside the choice of units when putting together the full job.
If you’re comparing options for several rooms, our four-unit installation in Hagley shows a larger multi-split arrangement in a detached home.
