A discreet multi-split installation in Cookley

Air conditioning near Kidderminster

At this home in Cookley, near Kidderminster, Crystal Cooling installed two 2.5kW Mitsubishi wall-mounted units connected to one 5kW outdoor unit.

The indoor equipment was only part of the story. Outside, the route of the pipework needed attention too, including how it passed the bathroom window and continued around the house.

Two indoor units, one outdoor condenser

The multi-split arrangement connects both indoor units to a single outdoor unit. For a customer looking at air conditioning in more than one room, that keeps the number of outdoor units down.

It’s the same broad approach used in our larger four-unit installation in Hagley, with a different arrangement of indoor equipment.

Black trunking around the window

We used black Inaba trunking to enclose the pipework. The route went up and over the bathroom window, then around the side of the house to the condenser.

The aim was to keep the pipework as discreet as possible. It’s a practical part of the job that deserves consideration when deciding where the outdoor unit will sit.

Plan the route as well as the units

When discussing an installation, it’s important to to look at the outside of the property as well as the rooms you want to cool. Our pricing guide offers a starting point before a quote for the particular layout.
